Employed by Wates Construction (Principle supply chain manager) to form part of the design team along with the architect and structural engineer.

OPERON are responsible for the full design and coordination of the mechanical, electrical, public health and lift service for a new high secure psychiatric health care facility for adolescents (12-18years). The site comprises of three bed/day wards, seclusion rooms, educational block, gym, out door sports pitch, courtyard / garden areas, primary health care and associated admin/support accommodation.

Staff alarm & security systems are being provided which include staff tracking at all times providing Staff Assistance & Child Protection. The Perimeter Fence Alarm is also Interfaced with CCTV system. The construction follows three main principles, secure, robust and anti ligature. Operon led & completed NEAT assessments for the scheme, achieving an ‘Excellent’ rating & assisted with the completion of AEDET.  OPERON have also been extensively involved with upgrading The Tatchbury Mount Infrastructure (Elec/Water) for HPT.
